The Short Answer
Cancelling a Higgsfield subscription, closing a Higgsfield account, and asking for a refund are three separate actions. Doing one does not automatically do the others.

How to Cancel a Higgsfield Subscription
Higgsfield’s Terms of Use list two cancellation routes for subscriptions bought directly from the company:
- Sign in to the Higgsfield account that owns the subscription.
- Open the account’s Payment Setting page.
- Cancel the active subscription and keep the confirmation screen or email.
- If the control is unavailable, email
support@higgsfield.aifrom the email address registered to the paid account.
The email-address detail matters. Higgsfield says subscription changes sent by email must come from the subscriber’s account email and will not be accepted from a third party.
Under the current terms, cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end the paid term immediately. You can normally keep using the subscription until the current term expires, and the company says it does not provide a prorated refund for the unused part of that term.
Before cancelling, check whether you bought a monthly or annual commitment. A price displayed as a monthly equivalent can still be billed as a full annual amount depending on the checkout selection.
When a Higgsfield Refund May Be Available
The standard refund exception in Higgsfield’s published terms is narrow. It allows a request when all of the following are true:
- the request is made within seven days of the initial purchase
- no credits from that purchase have been used
- the request concerns the initial purchase rather than a renewal
Where permitted by law, the terms say an eligible refund may include a service fee of up to 6% of the initial fee. The policy also recognizes that local law may require a different result.
Using even part of the credit balance can affect eligibility under the standard policy. If you believe a charge is wrong, do not spend more credits while the request is being reviewed.

- the email address associated with the account
- the purchase date and invoice or receipt ID
- whether the charge was an initial purchase or a renewal
- whether any credits were used
- the exact resolution requested
Do not send a full payment-card number, password, or authentication code.
What Happens to Unused Credits
Higgsfield’s Terms of Use describe purchased credits as prepaid amounts that have no cash value and are generally non-transferable. The terms also say unused credits are forfeited when the account is cancelled or the service ends, except where law requires otherwise.
That creates an important distinction:
- cancelling renewal can leave the account usable through the current term
- closing the account can remove access before you have exported work or used the remaining balance
If your goal is only to prevent another charge, cancel renewal first and avoid closing the account until you have reviewed the remaining projects and credits.

How to Delete a Higgsfield Account
Higgsfield’s Privacy Policy directs account-closure requests to
support@higgsfield.ai. A clear request should state that you want the account
closed, not merely the subscription cancelled.
Before sending it:
- Download any generated images, videos, prompts, or project records you need.
- Save invoices and cancellation confirmations.
- Review the remaining credit balance.
- Disconnect any workflow that depends on the account.
- Send the request from the account email.
The privacy policy says content becomes immediately inaccessible after account closure and should be purged from Higgsfield’s systems within 90 days. Content that you delete manually may remain on active servers for up to 30 days, with backup copies potentially retained longer. Legal holds, law-enforcement requests, or tax and financial audit requirements can extend those periods.
Users in the EEA or UK can also make data-rights requests, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability requests, through the same support address. Higgsfield may ask for information needed to verify identity.
